NashAngeles Entertainment mourns the loss of songwriter – recording artist Dan Seals. Dan was known as “England Dan” of England Dan and John Ford Coley and later had a successful career as a country artist.  Dan recorded many hit records such as “I’d Really Love to See You TonightLove is the AnswerNights are Forever Without You,Meet Me In MontanaBopAddicted and many, many others.  “He was a dear friend both in music and a good fishing buddy – he loved to flyfish and make his own bamboo flyrods ” said NashAngeles CEO Eddie Reasoner.  “Very early on Dan co-produced my first recording project in Nashville at Lee Hazen’s Studio By the Pond” along with  arranger Edgar Struble who was working with Kenny Rogers at the time.  “I have fond memories of our songwriting sessions, our many fishing trips, tying trout flies and time together in the recording studio”, in so many ways Dan Seals was my mentor” he added.

Dan’s brother Jimmy Seals was half of the duo Seals and Crofts and his other brother Eddie half of the comedy duo – Seals and Grant.  Dan Seals will be very much missed.
